My 40 Pound Expectation!

Thanks little brother for my Christmas present: I just picked it up from my local and efficient post office. The clerk told me it arrive on 12/15/2009 but they did not send me a notice until 2/1/2010. Way to go San Diego post office. I am very happy to have it and I will wear it with honors. Love you little brother!

Yoga girl today: once again great class for the mind and body. We did a few strange moves that I can not spell or verbalize. I was very sore after my weight lifting class yesterday so the stretching helped.

Only 4 pounds per month: I set this goal because it will be the last leg of my journey. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. The number is small but the impact will be huge. I will be 3 sizes or more smaller and looking much better in my clothes. My clothes look nice now but zero belly will make them look awesome. I have to admit that now I have real expectations for myself. I can not turn back at this point.

Question of the day: Is your weight goal a true expectation?

I did not have any expectations until I set that number yesterday.

  1. Interesting question. I have goals, but I'm not sure yet that I EXPECT to reach them. I hope to. Not confident yet.

  2. I have an expectation to be smaller....but still not solid on what weight will make me happy. I originally set my goal weight for 180 lbs. I'm 5'10, and I figured after weighing 340 lbs at my highest point, 180 was going to feel pretty damn good. Then I started thinking that was still too high, and dropped it to 170 lbs. I don't know where I'll end up, but I do know that I'll get to that happy weight eventually. :)

  3. My expectations are the same as yours. Although I want to lose weight much faster and be skinny overnight, this is the first time in my life that I have stuck w/ a plan and I am succeeding. Having patience with myself has been the key. Love the hoodie!

  5. I'm not exactly sure what my expectation is other than to be thinner and healthier. Don't yet have my eye set on an exact number yet.
Glad you finally got your shirt! Gotta love those postal delays huh??
